The Oasi del Fiumefreddo is a charming farmhouse residence with fully equipped apartments. It is situated inside a park called "Riserva Naturale del Fiumefreddo" at 600 mts from the beautiful beach Marina di Cottone (blue flag CEE for the unpolluted sea). The garden, with a stunning view of Etna volcano and Taormina, is equipped with lounge areas with tables and chairs, barbecue area and private parking. The residence, bordering the Castle of Slaves of XVII century, is situated at 1 km from the village of Fiumefreddo, 5 km from Giardini Naxos and then Taormina.Our location allows you to visit all the major attraction of the east coast and to organize excursions to Etna volcano, Taormina, Gole dell'Alcantara, Castelmola, Acireale, Alcantara Gorge’s, Riviera of the Cyclops, Catania city and (in 1 hour) to reach Syracuse. The surroundings also offers many sport and activities: horse riding, go-kart, flying with hang-gliding, golf and much more.. nature trails, archeological tours, adventure parks and local fairs as well as Catania and Taormina movida!.

Fiumefreddo di Sicilia
Characteristic village at the foot of Mount Etna, on the Ionian coast and immersed in a flourishing naturalistic vegetation. To visit the Castle of Schiavi, built in the 18th century.

Taormina
The city is an extraordinary intertwining of architectural, urbanistic, landscaping elements. In addition to the pretty old town, you can admire the famous Greek Theater, representing the second Sicilian theater for amplitude (after that of Syracuse). Alcantara Gorge
the Alcantara gorge is one of the most extraordinary natural phenomenon of the island: an amazing wildly flowing gorge, more than 20 meters deep, with the waters of River Alcantara flowing through two impressive faces of basalt prisms. The waters are extremely cold but it is usually possible to walk up the river.

Acireale
Baroque city famous for its 100 churches, hosts the most beautiful and crowded Carnival of Sicily with the traditional parade of allegorical paperboard papers and inflorate machines. To visit: the Duomo, the Basilica of SS Peter and Paul, the Church of S. Sebastiano of the sixteenth century, the timpa suggestive terrace on the sea.

Acitrezza/Acicastello
Acitrezza seaside resort and famous fishing center. The whole environment, reminiscent of Verga and his novel I Malavoglia, is enriched by the scenery of the island of Lachea and the Faraglioni, the culmination of the Homeric legend of Ulysses and Polyphemus, described in the Odyssey. Acicastello country characterized by the terrace on the sea, is famous for the lava stone castle, erected in 1076, which now houses the civic museum with mineralogy, paleontology, archeology and the aquarium of the Mediterranean.

Catania
The second city of Sicily by size and importance: the city extends between the Ionian Sea and the Etna volcano.
